Have you ever watched a Sony movie and thought, "I wonder what model VAIO they're using?" or "What Sony phone is that?" Ever sat through a Columbia-Tristar production marveling at how every person in the picture is using nothing but gadgets and gizmos by Sony Electronics?

The Sony Spotter is a blog dedicated to showcasing the powerful synergy that Sony has a brand as visually demonstrated in its live action theatrical releases. This precursory practice of placing pertinent product in performers' hands at once predates and platforms the "One Sony" plan put in place by CEO Kazuo Hirai in April 2012. Posts will follow a format of screenshots from live action Sony movies with as much Sony product identified as possible.

Our first soiree will be with Casino Royale, the Bond film that started the identification craze for me all those years ago.
