Five seconds into the second Official Trailer for Skyfall it's a VAIO! Skyfall looks to be using some pretty recent Sony gear - the unit in the shot appears to be a VPCSA series, the precursor to the SVS13 released in August 2012. The VPCSA was sold as a business alternative to the general consumer VPCSB, both models possessing features now common on the S-series such as an available extended life sheet battery and 4GB of onboard memory.
In rare form (for cinematic prop placement) the computer on screen is actually displayed in a realistic state considering the context. Apparently someone stole data Bond was looking to protect and the hard drive is actually physically missing from the unit, looking to have been forcibly and hurriedly removed. Of course, I would have recommended removing the battery before removing the hard drive to prevent a surge, but it's doubtful the rogue agent really had time to consider power cycling!
Skyfall releases November 9th in the US! Save the date!
